What Is It?

Understanding LTC Insurance

Long-Term Care (LTC) insurance is a policy designed to help cover the cost of services like in-home personal care, companion care, and assistance with daily living — expenses that traditional health insurance and Medicare typically don’t cover.
Helps pay for in-home caregiving hours
Can cover companion, personal, and specialty care
Benefits vary by policy and provider
Often triggered once help is needed with daily activities

Your VA Benefits May Cover Home Care

Many Veterans qualify for more than one VA program that helps pay for in-home assistance with daily living, memory care, or recovery support. We help you navigate the options.

Homemaker & Home Health Aide

For Veterans who need help with daily activities, delivered through VA-approved Community Care Network providers. Used alongside Aid & Attendance benefits.

Aid & Attendance Pension

An added pension benefit for eligible Veterans and surviving spouses that can help cover bathing, dressing, mobility, and other daily care needs.

Family Caregiver Program

Support for family members who care for an eligible Veteran full-time, including respite care days and a caregiver stipend.

Veteran-Directed Care (VDC)

Lets eligible Veterans manage their own care budget and choose who provides it — including hiring a trusted caregiver to help them age in place at home.
Paying for Care

Private Pay

ForeverWell Home Care accepts private-pay clients who choose to personally fund their home care services. Private pay offers families flexibility in selecting the type, frequency, and level of care that best meets their loved one’s needs. Our team will work with you to develop a personalized care plan and provide clear, transparent information about our rates and services.

Workers’ Compensation

ForeverWell Home Care may provide home care services for individuals recovering from a work-related injury or illness when services are authorized through their workers’ compensation insurance.
We work with the appropriate parties to help coordinate approved care and support our clients throughout their recovery. Coverage and eligibility are determined by the workers’ compensation carrier and applicable authorization requirements.
